Meet OUr Pastors
Josh Palma
Senior Pastor
Josh grew up in northern Minnesota and was saved as a young boy. He graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Local Church Ministries and Spanish, and his M.Div. in 2012. He met his wife Lindsay while in college and they were married in October 2011. They have 3 children. Josh first served First Baptist Church as associate pastor from 2013-2018 before returning to Pana in October 2022 as Senior Pastor.
Steven Thompson
Associate Pastor
Steven has been the associate pastor here at First Baptist since 2020. He graduated from Maranatha Baptist University in 2017 with a Pastoral Studies degree, and he completed his MDiv at Maranatha Baptist Seminary in 2019. Steven and his wife Megan met in college and were married in 2020. In his spare time, Steven enjoys sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife. He is also the head soccer coach for Pana High School.
